• To provide safety features including SOS alerts and emergency notifications
• To display and share missing person reports with the community
• To send safety alerts and community updates
• To improve the platform and user experience
• To process subscription payments securely through Stripe

3. Location Data

Soul Maps may request access to your device location to provide route planning, nearby safe stops, and emergency services. Location data is only transmitted when you actively use location-based features. We do not continuously track your location in the background.

4. Emergency Contact Information

When you add emergency contacts, their information is stored securely and used only to notify them in the event you trigger an SOS alert or miss a safety check-in. We do not sell or share this information with third parties.

5. Missing Person Reports

Missing person reports you submit are reviewed by our admin team before being published. By submitting a report, you confirm you have authorization to share the information and photos provided. Reports may be shared publicly to assist in locating missing individuals.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers (Stripe for payments, email delivery services) only as necessary to operate the platform.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Soul Maps is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
